50. Dismissing the power of ethics and morals in voting is the same mistake made during the election.

As is thinking that DU is a microcosm of the Democratic voter base.

Not everyone is an informed, pragmatic, clear-eyed, outcomes-based voter. Kamala lost 5-6 MILLION votes, most of it due to Gaza. That is a hard reality that must be faced if we want Democrats to win next time.

It is clear that there are moral lines and boundaries many voters are not willing or able to cross. Whether we agree with it or not, clearly many of those voters who thought Israel was committing a genocide with our weapons and support, could not cross that line. For them, this is not a "pet cause" but an expression of their values and who they are.

Given how much worse Gaza is now, continuing along the same path is a clear danger for Democrats. This time they need to listen.
