disfavor globally and domestically is hidden for us, IMHO. I hope this video gets wide distribution on the internets and socials.

We were in Berlin a couple of months ago, and I'll say that awareness and actions around injustices appear to be much more on the surface there...part of everyday discussions, experience, art exhibits, etc. MUCH more than in the US. Knowledge of domestic and global issues appears to be high. Gaza, Ukraine, RW german parties, US RW lurch, etc..

Being there added a whole layer of chilling worry about the direction we are headed in, because of Berlin's history and ongoing responses to it. Public art, museum and gallery exhibits, grafitti, articles....offer deep and honest looks at German history, echoes of authoritarianism elsewhere, and are warnings that a large portion of the US is unaware of.

Berlin: wonderful, astonishing, different, young, intriguing, vibrant city...took awhile to wrap our heads around it
