1. One of the excuses white supremacists give is that it is erasing American history to destroy the monuments

of the Confederate traitors. Trump has repeated this lie numerous times.

It is not erasing history; it is correcting American history.

It is a lie to claim there was anything noble or honorable about the Confederacy. They were traitors who attacked the United States.

They don't deserve monuments. They don't deserve to be remembered as anything other than traitors.

The lies need to be stopped. Schools should be penalized for teaching the "Lost Cause" myth of patriots gallantly fighting for states' rights against a tyrannical central government.

Teaching lies about the Confederacy is nothing more than promoting white supremacy.

Those monuments represent those lies.

Those monuments glorify white supremacy.
