12. Blue states like California make it a pain to buy a gun

You have to buy a safe to store the gun, you have to pass a firearms safety test (administered in a gun store or other likely RW infested place), pass a background check you have to have a 10 day waiting period. Yes I know all of this has good meaning behind it but guns are already expensive and then you have to add the cost of the safety test ($25), the gun safe ($100+), $37 in state fees, 11% tax on guns, in addition to ammo and money spent training at a gun range (also likely RW infested.) Those are significant deterrents for anyone already on the fence for buying a gun in a blue state.
