Trump-themed burger joints owner detained by ICE, might be deported 'regardless of political beliefs' [View all]
The owner of Donald Trump-themed burger restaurants in Texas may be removed from the country after being detained by immigration enforcement earlier this year.
Ronald Beaini, a Lebanese national who owns several Trump Burger locations in the Houston area, overstayed his visa and is going through immigration proceedings, ICE told KHOU in Houston.
He entered the country legally in 2019 but was supposed to leave in 2024, the agency said.
He was arrested May 16 and has been going through immigration proceedings since then.
