when I was relatively new here, I noted that the first level of political office is the local school board. Someone who I became good friends with after getting to know them said I was wrong, and made fun of me for insisting it indeed is. Oh, how wrong they were! Think of the school libraries, and the attempt to pressure colleges and universities to teach a white christian nationalist agenda.
