I am not very knowledgeable about finance so I hope someone will dumb down a response to my question as though I were a 6 year old.

Whats the purpose of these tariffs? Why does he keep changing the deadlines and amounts? Who is advising him on these financial decisions. What is his agenda for this BS driving prices up?

I know he is has always been super shitty businessman but this takes the cake. And what about his cult/fans? They don't like this price hiking crap, which will never likely go back down again.

What is his point? His fans hate him. Everybody hates him except for the tech bros amd Putin and Kim.
