we sure have had some scumbags, the lowest of the low, for leaders. Why is that? I keep asking if it's systemic, but I think it's really that they will do anything for power. If that's the case, why can't we do something about those types of people?

It's too late now (environmentally I speak), but if we had it all to do over again, why couldn't we get this scum out of leadership?

OTOH, maybe it is systemic to capitalism. It's a system that doesn't do well with not-so-bright people with little self-esteem. They need all that money to feel significant.
