Granted, I don't know many people who live in Alaska [View all]
Nor does my knowledge of Alaskan history, politics, and culture extend past the hundreds of articles which reference their fiercely independent nature. Going on that alone, I’m dubious that Alaskans will take a giveaway - no matter what form it may take - lying down. C’mon, Alaska! This is the big bad federal government coming to strip natural resources, displace populations, and probably grant a toehold to the Russian dictator. Don’t let us down.
