7. As advocates scoop them away, what then happens to their meager belongings left behind?

Will their few comforts or tradeable items be bulldozed and trashed leaving them with even less? They're already living with bare minimum. I'll presume the point is to leave them with nothing and no reason to return; sadly, it's the cruelty that is paramount once again.
