A half century ago I needed money for college so I worked at the only job that paid more than minimum wage and was available to those without education or connections, the factory slaughterhouse. There were two starting groups a week and few US born workers made it more than a week, many quit the first day. And failing at IBP meant moving at least 300 miles away or accepting a life of poverty. Most of the workforce were refugees from Viet Nam or Laos. I stayed a year and a half and my crapal tunnel still hurts every day a half century later. I've seen how this ends up. Buy stock in companies that produce cheap alcohol, they will do well in the coming years.
