I am skeptical of his ability or desire to do so, but if he manages to do something good, then I'm with Clinton. There's no point in being reflexively every he could possibly do is bad. If he wakes up tomorrow and decides that trans people deserve protection and healthcare, I'm not going to suddenly be against trans people getting protection and healthcare.

Defining ourselves as anti-Trump isn't enough and is setting our morals aside just to center Trump. If all we are is frothing at the mouth Trump hate, what do we do in 3 years when he's no longer president or when he kicks the bucket?

And there's the issue of our credibility of the boy who cried wolf. If we're constantly just screaming everything Trump does is the end of the world, what happens when things manage to muddle along? How many months did we hear about how surely the Social Security checks won't get deposited this month? Turns out, pretty much nobody missed their Social Security check.
