One source I recall said those abandoned Walmarts were secretly hiding underground SUBMARINE PENS!!!

There was an Army Colonel who went town-to-town weeks before the exercise to meet with the locals simply to tell them they MIGHT be seeing more than the usual number of military people and vehicles. He was stunned by the onslaught of rabid Reich-wing bullshittery aimed at him.
