And attention gets him paid these days, so the wilder the conspiracy the better. Gins up chatter and helps with future TV gigs. That formula seems to work just as well on the left as the right. If done on the right, we call it scamming the rubes. The point being, not to disseminate information and analysis but to simply get people worked up. There's a monetary value to that.
