(25,917 posts)26. I think the main reason the Dems score low on popularity
(and the R's aren't much higher) is because their own voters are disatified with their response to trump. Unlike R's they do not follow a party leader blindly. So when almost all R's dislike the Dem party and a big majority of D's do as well for completely different reasons, you're going to get bad numbers. What it doesn't mean is that Dems will vote Republican. It means that if Dems fight harder (and they are) we will win back the disgruntled Dems who are lowering these numbers.
