This is protecting the Golden Goose, the MAGA-drenched audience who may see Newsom's parody and start blinking their veiled eyes. The last thing Fox and their overpaid propagandists want is MAGA-land to start seeing the magician's trick. They want and need the continued rage fuel not satire tearing at the ongoing deception.

Hannity is making a fool of himself but none of these Fox agents are dummies. They're self-serving blowhards being paid big bucks to lie, obfuscate and deflect. Dana Perrino is not a stupid woman yet she too made a fool of herself dressing down Gavin Newsom for his Trumpian imitation.

Fox personalities have tied their future to a decrepit old man, to the Big Lie, to a fascist takeover. They've sold their souls for it.
