I think if for example troops open fire or physically assault peaceful demonstrators, some high-ranking officers who command actual units may get together and secretly devise a plan to detain Trump and his cabinet. The key to any action would be centered on secret deliberations and discussions among commanders, isolated action would most likely fail.
