Today, the effect of the two-senator problem is to amplify the representation of the rural population (e.g. Wyoming vs California) to an absurd degree. Gerrymandering could be fixed instantly by assigning representatives proportionately. And the electoral college is an obvious evil that no one can defend, but they do.

We've been overwhelmed by the flaws used to game the system. The system is broken but its own fundamental flaws prevent a fix.
