But also the Harris campaign ran on a $25,000 down payment assistance program and incentivizing more housing being built. She ran on Trump being a threat to democracy. By any objective measure the Harris campaign was less close with Israel and thus AIPAC. Harris didn't have a position on the stock trading thing, but given some Republicans like Hawley and Rand Paul supported the bill banning elected officials from trading stocks, it kind of conflicts with the never work with Republicans thing.

But those things didn't convince enough people to vote for her. Maybe it's not so easy to find a way to market our plans or gain resonance with the public.
