7. I find it grimly amusing

To see the unprincipled scurry at times like these popsdenver...

I always thought “be on the right side of history” is such a horrible way of thinking.
It could work for the shallowest people who by instincts or conviction have a map of herd morality and nothing more.

This is the most difficult time I have seen in my life and I have no confusion. I thought we were headed here some 14 years ago and feel vindicated by just how horribly fascistic the Trump admin is turning out to be.

But the easiest stuff aside (flat out riht and wrong) it raises more questions than it answers since how to proceed now is not as simple as pulling a lever..throughout I have seen people who claim to be moral and on the right side fuck up.
And they will continue to skilfully or by herd instinct zig-zag a path to “safety” ..lol.

Even David Brooks is all anti-fascist! He’s still David Brooks and was writing columns in Jan about the revenge of the common man.
