The insanity continues.. I taught food safety as part of my position for the last 10 years before I retired. Listeria infection can lead to miscarriage and still birth. Apparently we can no longer educate and tract infection rates to keep babies and mothers healthy and alive , What in the hell is going on in DC??

The Foodborne Diseases Active Surveillance Network, known as FoodNet, has cut required monitoring to just two pathogens that cause infections, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That’s down from eight.
