They morphed into the Nixon Democrats in the 70s, and the boll weevils/Southern Republicans/Reagan Democrats of the 80s. The Reagan Democrats et al morphed into the Dittoheads, who morphed into the Teabaggers, who morphed into the MAGAts. The MAGAts will morph into something worse.
