You cite Sinema as the culprit, but if it hadn't been her it would have been someone else. Manchin comes to mind, but there were others too. She just took the heat. I noticed the conspicuous absence of any minimum wage discussion in the last election.

The paradox, of course, is that Democrats think they can't win without the "big tent," but once empowered can't pass (or even introduce) any legislation with it. All that's left is "to bipartisan" with their "friends." And with friends like that....
