3. Subheadlines don't count against the 4 paragraphs you're allowed to quote. But to avoid confusion,

if you're putting the headline and subheadline in a block with quoted paragraphs, it helps to use boldface for the headline, italics for the subheadline (a lot of articles do this anyway), and have the byline and date below them, separating them from quoted paragraphs.
