that should have ended at least when slavery was abolished since that was apparently the main reason for it in the first place. And much more rigging since then with crooked gerrymandering, election 2000 Florida recount/hanging chads/Brooks Brothers Riot/SCROTUS overreach, etc. And now more crooked gerrymandering in plain sight. One might argue that the U.S. has never been a real democracy ensuring "one person/one equal vote."
