... his arrival has the "pant leg" concealing the long gun. He wants with a bit of a limp, which could be explained by concealing a long gun in your pant leg. Jumping off the roof and running does not, obviously. Very athletic. That's after... So, they say he disassembled the gun. Must be a quick change, then... the gun would probably be broken. Okay... but the other photos of him on the stairway, for example. Are they before or after... Seemed like arrival, to me... His pants are not loose and only an iPhone looks apparent. There is no long gun. Then, there is a new release of his arrival - in shorts! Another quick change? So, he arrived in shorts and changed clothing, they report... and, where was the gun, then?

It could not have been in either of his pant legs - he bends both legs fully both in running & when jumping Pachamama Sep 2025 #2

I think they are referring to when he was walking in the stairwell entering the building. 33taw Sep 2025 #3
Could the gun have been prepositioned? exboyfil Sep 2025 #22
He would have to have removed bolt, scope AND barrel within seconds. Hard to believe he did this so quickly but I artemisia1 Sep 2025 #4
How long is just the barrel? Irish_Dem Sep 2025 #5
It depends upon the model. /nt artemisia1 Sep 2025 #8
It would be easy to get the bolt action Mauser barrel measurements. Irish_Dem Sep 2025 #9
Yes. If that is the actual rifle used. It would be a tight fit, but maybe possible. The question is disassemble time. artemisia1 Sep 2025 #10
How many things does he have to take apart? Irish_Dem Sep 2025 #12
There are only a few explanations. Irish_Dem Sep 2025 #13
Agree, they did say he visited the site a few times prior, likely scoping his route out. Bev54 Sep 2025 #34

Yes if you are needing to make a quick getaway why re-chamber a used bullet? Irish_Dem Sep 2025 #7
The casing would have remained in the chamber until he worked the action Kaleva Sep 2025 #11
That is my thinking. Old Crank Sep 2025 #14

To remove the barrel you must remove the bolt. This removes the spent casing. It was reinserted at some point. /nt artemisia1 Sep 2025 #18
Which might suggest the gun wasn't broken down after the shot Kaleva Sep 2025 #20
That is my thought. /nt artemisia1 Sep 2025 #21
Why is that? Disaffected Sep 2025 #23
I think he was talking about removing the barrel Kaleva Sep 2025 #24
Removing the barrel, removing the stock? Disaffected Sep 2025 #37
On the Mauser 98 it is necessary to first remove the bolt. /nt artemisia1 Sep 2025 #38
Thanks but that is what you said b/f (which prompted my question). nt Disaffected Sep 2025 #41

Unless you remove the barrel which requires moving/removing the bolt. /nt artemisia1 Sep 2025 #19
