I had no idea spewing hatred and bigotry was such a lucrative business.

To me, GoFundMe is for people of limited means who are suddenly in tragic circumstances that they can't afford. It's not for people like Mary Lou Retton, who's worth $10,000,000 but chose not buy health insurance and then ends up in critical condition in the hospital or Alyssa Milano, who certainly can afford to pay for her son to go to baseball camp but didn't want to spend the money.

And it's not for people like Charlie Kirk's widow. She's not exactly in dire straits. And the fact that she got so much money (if the five million figure is correct) is boggling my little mind. Why not donate that money in her name to people and organizations who need it? Homeless people; soup kitchens; shelters, etc. could use that money a lot more than she does.

Everything is completely backwards and baffling to me these days.
