9. Most State Fire Marshal's in the country are armed.

They are POST certified and are able to make arrests. Most are firefighters who came up the ladder and became the law enforcement side of the Fire Service.
But arming regular firefighters? We've got enough on our plates without having to worry about carrying a gun for protection, but if things don't change in this country, it may just come to this.
