is... he wasn't radicalized, but Kirk was the last straw.... the kid seemingly grew up in a family (most likely loving, in their own way) that held to views contrary to his lifestyle, and then he witnessed many people his age listening to Kirk and them believing trans/gay was bad.... Kirk saying trans lives were not legit ("you can't make up your own reality"
and other hateful ideas
