Civil rights attorney Ben Crump announced he has been retained by the parents of 21-year-old Demartravion Reed, who was found hanging from a tree at Delta State University in Mississippi.

“We cannot accept vague conclusions when so many questions remain,” Crump said in a statement. "And I will undertake an independent investigation into the death"
