They, Trey really, do everything last minute. In order to air on Thursday night they have to have the script done done by Tuesday at noon. That allows for the animation to be sent and done in South Korea, songs to be arranged and recorded, and then voices. In the documentary I saw they started putting pencils to paper on Monday night I think.

Pretty much all TV Animation we see is done in South Korea. Five fingers cost more which is why The Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy etc have 4 fingers. God got 5 fingers on The Simpsons.
