2. It's been lost for a long time.

It’s just that it’s so in your face now.

There were many opportunities to avoid this, none were taken.

I’d wager the whole thing was basically lost when they backdoored Henry Wallace out of the VP position way back in the 1944 election. We could have had a mostly socialist state if not a full one. The fascists won a huge victory that day. The day JFK was killed was another major victory for the bad guys. Reagan was the final nail in the coffin. Since then we’ve been on a fast march to where we are now.

The question becomes, what are we going to do about it? Because it’s up to us, the People. Party leadership seems to have no clue how to handle any of this. They don’t even know how to speak about it let alone act.

We should have been in the streets for months already, shutting the country down. Instead we just impotently wave our fists and say “you can’t do that!”

And then they do and no one does anything.

Lost? Yes we are.
