Walkie talkie, CB, microwave transmission, all assuming those devices haven’t been destroyed by EMP (electromagnetic pulse) by then. I haven’t kept up with current technology, but it would be great to wirelessly transmit ‘packets’ of data containing messages, etc.. I’m guessing not a lot of endeavor has been put into technology involving ‘old school’ means of communication.
