this became crystal clear to me with their coordinated promotion against the truth and the nation's best interests when they waged their relentless "War against Gore" propaganda campaign, ie: "Al Gore claimed to have invented the Internet" etc. etc. etc. instead of giving him credit for his land mark legislative achievements while also literally enabling an inferior candidate to power

I viewed this as an oligarchic, top down directed assault against both the 1st Amendment and the science warning of the growing catastrophe of global warming climate change.

Before that I always thought one could discern the truth by turning to as many different corporate media sources as possible for information on a daily basis. After 2000 I realized it was all a bubble as the system; itself had due to over concentration become dysfunctional, if the purpose of journalism is to present the truth with no fear or favor.

As I have said countless times since 2000, the corporate media is the CORPORATE media.
