The fascist Deathsantis takeover of New College has been horrific. This school was known as an incredibly progressive school (you could make up your own major and I remember one year when a guy was allowed to go to class wearing nothing but a tie for a year-- I'm assuming a sociology or psych experiment). No sports teams, just really cool, free-thinking people.

So natch, this school became a project for the fascist goon in Tallahassee. The board was replaced entirely, teachers fired, pointless athletics were being pushed, and the beautiful campus fucked over.

I'm sure it's Deathsantis' pride and joy, right up there with removing vaccine mandates for schools. Seems a natural to place a shrine here to a racist poseur who never even finished school. 🙄

I predict this monstrosity will become a focus of abuse. Still plenty of artsy-fartsy free-thinking libs, old hippies, and pissed-off people hurt by the shitty economy and cost of living here who are willing to fight back. This isn't Mar-a-Fucking-Lago. This is the GOOD side of Florida, and we're fighting back.🤨
