The Ilhan Omar vs. Nancy Mace feud is getting nasty [View all]

A prominent Democratic congresswoman just narrowly survived an effort to take away her biggest jobs on Capitol Hill.

Surprisingly, she has Republicans to thank.

On Sept. 17, the House of Representatives narrowly struck down a resolution from Rep. Nancy Mace, R-South Carolina, to censure Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota. The measure would've stripped Omar of her committee assignments, rendering her far less powerful as a lawmaker.

The vote was 214-213. Joining with Democrats were four Republicans: Reps. Mike Flood of Nebraska, Jeff Hurd of Colorado, Tom McClintock of California and Cory Mills of Florida.

And I suspect Cory Mills only voted "for" because his own jobs are in danger...but never look a gift horse in the mouth. Nasty Mace is unhinged.
