1. Corporate America is watching this closely

They are literally weighing the relative cost to their bottom lines of angering a huge segment of their customers by "obeying Trump in advance" and caving in to the demands of his regime vs. the price Trump will make them pay if they do not.

At this point it is irrelevant whether Kimmel's "suspension" is an issue that we want to make a stand on, the question has been called. If Disney suffers relatively little from abandoning the First Amendment in this instance, other corporations will take note, and we can expect more of them to quickly fall in line for Trump.

The game, as they say, is on.
