gay and trans people, and only because of the relationship he seems to have had. There are, in fact, Republican or right-wing LGBTQ people (e.g., Caitlin Jenner). Years ago I knew a gay man who was very conservative, loved Reagan, expressed racist attitudes and didn't even like most other gay people. Being, or being an advocate for LGBTQ doesn't guarantee liberal opinions as to other matters. So far they have failed to connect Robinson to any left-wing or liberal organizations, or identify any other liberal opinions he might have expressed.
