Put options go up in value dramatically when the market price of the stock crashes.

And what Trump and Kennedy did was easy for government officials to do. They crashed the stock.

In the old days, the SEC would be investigating any unusual volume of options purchased ahead of major news affecting the stock.

The SEC will not be investigating this.
