12. I'd suggest getting a professional who is not your ins adjuster

for a second, written opinion/estimate. The adjuster is paid by the insurance company and are not on your side.

That said, if the adjuster was being truthful, and the roof can be repaired (no damage to half the roof or whatever), rather than replaced, that's probably in line with your policy coverage and limitations. I'm not taking the side of the insurance company, that's just reality.
