5. I'm very sorry for your loss and the years of stress.

I was my mom's primary caregiver for years. Eventually she had to move to assisted living, but her care still required a lot of my time and energy.

It's a very, very difficult thing for loved ones to manage. The emotional outbursts alone are very hard on caregivers.
