If I knew how to post pictures here, I would. I'm not really sure that I have a copy of that issue of the magazine, but all of my kids do. And all the photos and newspaper articles are in scrapbooks my younger son keeps. But for now, I will share a story that I think you will find as funny as I do.

Now, my younger son is a three-time NYS Golden Gloves champion -- light heavyweight, cruiserweight, and heavyweight. Though he is really a light heavyweight, like my brother and myself, he liked fighting bigger guys. Smokin' Joe Frazier's son Marvis used to help me train him. He was, as everyone who even sparred him found, an extremely hard puncher. I used to feel sorry for the guys he hit in the ring.

A month or so ago, I was in the grocery store, and a young employee came up and said, "If you box (your son), you'd knock him out, right?" I burst out laughing, and explained why there are no current old men holding the titles. She said that the employees there had been discussing this, with half saying my son could beat me, and half saying I was a tough guy who could beat anyone in a fight. I'm laughing almost as hard now as when she said that. My son thinks it's a riot, too.

I can only hope my enemies without think that I'm still tough. Ha!
