I just called Cong. Ben Cline's DC office (R-VA) [View all]

from Scotland. I spoke to a woman who typed away while I spoke.

I told her where I was currently located, that I'd listened to the Trump/Hegseth meeting at Quantico. Concern: Neither Hegseth nor Trump had mentioned my neighborhood as venues for invasion. Do I have a need to be concerned, or were Army Rangers going to start dropping from Blackhawks onto my flowerbeds to arrest my neighbors? Long pause. I thought she'd hung up.

Still online.

Further, does language from a US president declaring war against Americans concern Cong. Cline at all? Does he realize such a declaration is unconstitutional? In addition, does he understand how swamped our generals are in their day to day duties, how much responsibility they carry, that taking a trip half way around the world to listen to a President declare war on Americans to be the opposite of what our generals' mission is?

I said I rarely hear a peep out of Cline. Now would be the time to speak up, starting with getting a group of Republican colleagues together to tell Trump that the jig is up. Clearly, he's a sick, sick, crazy man. I said I wanted Cline to be part of that group. Stop the stonewalling. Get him out.

I said I was a democrat, that stateside I am now considered "the enemy," so I don't feel safe returning to my own country. It shouldn't matter one iota what party I belong to.

That was the gist of the conversation.

I recommend you to do something similar. Call the DC offices of your congressperson. Trump has declared war on Americans. Register your opinion now before we're passed the point of it mattering.
