Well! Gosh darn GOBer farmers just can't get any relief! [View all]
I stopped to grab a quick sandwich in South Dakota. I was in line to pay, there was a local farmer chatting with the cashier. The farmer was not sure how long he would be safe from losing his farm. The cashier said “what about the bailout money that Trump was supposed to give out”? The farmer laughed and replied “not going to happen with the shutdown”
And I inserted a few words “he made a lot of promises that were not fulfilled”! They both agreed with me on that point! Neither of them said anything negative about my comment, I was a bit surprised!
