the GQP candidate despite massive voter suppression during the election and intimidation efforts at the polls. Despite their loss the party is claiming voter fraud and improper tallying of votes and have taken their efforts to overturn the election results to new absurdity in the courts.

Those courts have now had an air of intimidation also for the last two years since the 2026 mid-terms. The court system "revamp" was rammed through and the number of jurisdictions has been dramatically reduced. Each remaining court has a large armed presence from the Homeland Security Force which was greatly expanded over the last 3 years and grew from the massive ramping up of ICE forces which included a massive recruiting effort and embrace of "militias" and private "security contractors". Courts are now convened on a schedule set by the DOJ and cases allowed to be heard are "reviewed" by DOJ before being allowed to move forward.

Since the November 2028 election the allowed cases have nearly all been about election interference and claims of voter fraud. Despite that we did have Inauguration Day despite the oath of office having to be administered by an associate Justice since the Chief Justice claimed he would abide by an Executive Order not to carry out administering the oath. But the tense standoff remains.

We are now into March of 2029 and the standoff is ongoing with Congress sidelined because the current DOJ refuses to allow any of their legal challenges about all of this to move forward in the courts that do remain. Ever since the Supreme Court gave a green light to declarations of "emergency" powers and changes much of what we knew before is gone.

Throughout November, December and January the current President has called his Homeland Security Force to Washington D.C. and they have placed many thousands of armed troops surrounding the White House, Supreme Court and Congress. The current President has declared by Executive Order that the November election results are suspended indefinitely pending investigation and resolution of all claims of impropriety and therefore he must remain in office. The compliant majority at the Supreme Court have declared their opinion that they have no authority to review this suspension or his indefinite continuance in office.

So now we wait to see and we wonder if there will be a clash between the Homeland Security Force and the military. Media reports are few and far between and are very sanitized ever since the major crackdown on media began in late 2025 under the guise of ridding the media of reporting that supports "terrorism", threatens "national security" and is against the values and policies of the administration. The organized protests have been pretty much eliminated after the violent repression that took place around the mid-terms in 2026. Many of those killed have never been returned to their loved ones.

But the unrest among the people is still a factor and the high prices, unemployment, mass evictions etc. have all weighed heavily on a population dealing with the massive resurgence of COVID-19 and the attempts of DHHS to downplay the hundreds of thousands of deaths over the last 2 years. Ever since the widespread heavy restrictions on all vaccines by DHHS after the mid-terms diseases are increasing and getting a COVID shot is nearly impossible. Those who do seek medical care over the last 3 years have been experiencing problems of closed hospitals and clinics as well as loss of insurance due to inability to pay soaring premiums.

So here we are and the response from the White house for nearly all of this has been a combination of created distractions, recriminations, prosecution of critics, promises that the tariffs need more time to work and claims that the various problems are "fake reporting" and are exaggerated. That playbook that began in 2016 and ramped up in 2025 and beyond along with their loyalist Homeland Security Force seems to be their answer for everything. More force, more death, more sickness, more lies, more created distractions. It certainly doesn't seem that it was ever really working for people and now we see it was all just signposts on the descent into madness and collapse.
