25. Wait times in the ER

are highly dependent on the type/severity of injury/illness and how many cases are waiting.

Some cases benefit from an extended observation period; no matter how irritating that is to the person who is waiting to be seen. Head injuries are just one of these. Some cases get rushed ahead of everyone else depending on on the severity of their circumstances.

If I'm headed to the ER I certainly don't want to wait while the ER staff verifies my (and everyone else's) citizenship status!
