few glasses of iced black tea and give up the 2-3 cups of hot green tea I would drink in a day. I was surprised at that. I knew about the dark leafy greens and other high oxalate foods and will have to look into the tart cherry juice! I'm also supposed to drink 120 oz of plain water and take a cranberry supplement each day. I rarely get to 100oz, let alone 120oz. It's a known fact in our ER that Oct/Nov are kidney stone season. They think it's mainly due to lack of adequate hydration during the summer months.

I can certainly feel for anyone that has ever had kidney stones. I have an appt on the 27th to have 2 6mm stones blasted. Once stones hit 5mm, they said they don't come out on their own so the have to be either blasted (lithotripsy) or lasered.
