1. Alarming.

What caught my eye is that antibiotics are "losing potency against common" illnesses So we're not talking about MRSA or C. Difficile or one of the illnesses well-known to be difficult to treat with available antibiotics. Apparently we're talking about things like urinary tract infections, etc... We are losing ground in so many areas of basic existence.
