2. Her concern is...

mainly for her re-election. She's not eager to head back to Rome, GA.
Of course, there is probably a large element of concern for her constituents who may well suffer, and some resentment about being ostracized or sidelined by the party after raising a ton of money.

People are complicated. Politicians are what they are.

But we should welcome her to the resistance!
