I'm not too good at estimating crowds, but it was a lot. Pretty much filled the lawn in front of the Old Courthouse. A lot of people chose to stand on the sidewalk by the street with their signs. The honking was almost non-stop from the people passing by. In the time I was close enough to listen in detail over the two hours, I only heard three MAGA people yelling out their windows. There were no MAGA counter protesters, just one authoritarian-Jesus freak telling us we were all going to hell. Our County Commissioner who's been doing the most to fight a mid-census redistricting that puts in place all sorts of hanky panky for the Republicans had no problem using the f (fascist) word and the n (Nazi) word.
